Gotham release date
The American TV series "Gotham" appeared on the Fox channel on September 22, 2014. The new show about superheroes traditionally bases its plot on comics from DC Comics.
The script of the crime series unfolds in the same universe where the events of "Batman" take place, but decades earlier. The story will tell about the lives of detectives James Gordon and Harvey Bullock, who work in the Gotham City Police Department. Homicide unit leader Sarah Essen directs the detectives to investigate the most high-profile crime in recent years - the case of the deaths of billionaires Martha and Thomas Wayne. These people are the parents of Bruce Wayne, a thirteen-year-old boy who is under the care of Alfred the butler. The teenager is the only witness to the crime. Gordon meets the boy and they become friends. In the future, it is to him that fate promises to become the defender of Gotham City (Batman), thanks to the aforementioned tragic events and acquaintance with Detective Gordon. But until that happens, James must fight a local criminal group led by Fish Mooney. He and his thugs are involved in the murder of Bruce's parents, but since they are protected by higher authorities, it is practically impossible to put the criminals behind bars.
