Hap and Leonard Season 3

The film company Nightshade, engaged in the production of foreign crime drama "Hap and Leonard", has decided to extend the TV series for a 3rd season. The release of the continuation is tentatively scheduled for the beginning of 2018.

The final series of the second part will be shown in the end of spring 2017. The broadcast is carried out on the television channel "Sundance TV". The project "Hap and Leonard" is based on several works by the talented writer Joe R. Lansdale.

Season 3 preview

The plot revolves around two extraordinary friends who differ radically from each other in their established habits and dominant character traits. Collins, from childhood, has been accustomed to working hard. In his youth, he categorically refused to go to war in Vietnam. The authorities sentenced him to prison for his disobedience, where he served his term. Upon release, he went to East Texas to earn a living. The man works on plantations, earning a pittance for growing roses. Pine is a veteran of military action and does not hide from others the fact that he is gay. His uncle, who was responsible for raising him, refuses any communication with him after learning the truth about his sexual orientation. Hap is the only one who supports his comrade, no matter what.

The main roles were played by James Purefoy, who starred in feature films such as "Vanity Fair" and "Resident Evil", Christina Hendricks, who gained fame after the films "The Battle of Shaker Heights" and "Bad Santa 2", Michael Kenneth Williams, known for films like "Ghostbusters" and "Assassin's Creed", and other actors.

The premiere took place on March 2, 2016. A total of 13 episodes were filmed. The script tells the story of a couple of inseparable friends who strive to overcome difficulties with honor, but occasionally find themselves in various adventures.
