Valeria is an ordinary saleswoman at a flea market. Her working point is owned by a Muslim, Bakir Baimatov. Besides giving rewards for selling things, the leader often shares a bed with the girl. Despite this, Valeria's heart has long belonged to another. The chosen one turns out to be the brother of her lover - Aman. The confident development of the romance, hidden from Bakir, turns into an engagement. Demonstrating the sincerity of her intentions, the girl accepts the commandments of Allah, disregarding her parents' protests. The new faith requires great dedication, but the bright future is too attractive to back down. However, with the long-awaited event comes the loss of all hope for changes in life. At the wedding, Valeria's future brother-in-law is killed in front of her. After that, she becomes a suspect in the eyes of the arriving investigator. For Aman, the innocence of the accused is absolutely clear, but the contents of a hiding place belonging to Bakir makes even him doubt. A weapon, a significant sum of cash, and passports belonging to different individuals. The only thing that matches in the documents is Valeria's photo. Is the girl really an innocent victim of circumstances or is something bigger hidden here?
