Carnival Films, a film company that is engaged in the production of the British drama project "Jamestown", assured fans that they will be able to appreciate the 2nd season in the spring of 2018.

The finale was broadcasted in June 2017 on the television channel "Sky 1". The basis of this series is the eponymous work of the writer Benjamin Walli.

What will happen in season 2

The action takes place in the early 17th century. English colonists made a brave decision to conquer American territories. They hope that over time they will be able to establish huge cities on foreign lands and settle there for centuries. However, even before their fearless invasion, there was already a small settlement here, the population of which had long established its own rules and does not want to give way to foreigners. The town is mainly inhabited by small-time swindlers and gangsters who control the defenseless people. The overwhelming majority of citizens belong to the strong half of humanity, which greatly concerns the community leader. The charismatic George realizes clearly that a woman's hand is extremely necessary for the household and cannot wait for the ship on which women are supposed to arrive. The man informs the arriving women about the rules of existence in the town, but not all of them are ready to blindly obey him.

The leading roles were played by Naomi Battrick, who appeared in the films "Mama's List" and "Titan", Jason Fleming, familiar to the audience from the feature films "Great Expectations" and "Lost Christmas", Sophie Rundle, who appeared in the TV series "Merlin" and "Peaky Blinders", and other artists.

The premiere episode was shown on May 5, 2017. A total of 8 episodes were released. The script tells the story of a remarkable small town where strict customs reign and unchanging laws are established.
