There is no official confirmation of the show's extension yet, but if the second season of "Horse Police" is released, it can be watched on the screens in 2018. The television channel TNT will be responsible for creating the new season, just as it was with the first one.

"Horse Police" - a sitcom of Russian production from the TNT channel. The story revolves around a corrupt police officer. The superiors, after learning that their protégé is engaged in bribery, decide to punish him. But they consider dismissal as too harsh a punitive measure, as the main character, despite his flaws, is a good law enforcer with great potential. As punishment, they decide to send him to the cavalry police regiment. It is very tough for the fined policeman there. Firstly, he has no experience in horse riding and has no idea how the mounted police work. Secondly, he does not have a single like-minded person in the regiment. All the members of the regiment are honest and brave people for whom words like honor, dignity and courage are not just empty sounds. The corrupt cop faces the most difficult choice in his life: either he starts a new life, gives up his old habits, changes for the better, and becomes a truly noble defender of the city, or he is fired without the right to reinstatement.

The second season will be dedicated to the new adventures of the former corrupt cop. The main character, who has already established relationships with colleagues and settled in the new workplace, will continue to dispense justice in his hometown. The newly recruited cavalry police officer and his comrades will encounter new problematic, but at the same time amusing situations, from which they will have to skillfully extricate themselves. Will the main character overcome all the trials and become one of the best policemen in the city? Watch and find out!

The role of the "slacker cop" will be played by Russian theater and film actor Arthur Smolyaninov. This will be his first experience shooting in a sitcom. The central female role is given to actress and comedian Natalia Medvedeva. The roles of supporting characters will be played by Gleb Puskepalis, Alexei Simonov, and Irina Starshenbaum.

The premiere of the series "Horse Police" will take place in autumn 2018. The expected number of episodes is 16.
