The TV series "Lucifer" premiered on the FOX channel on January 25, 2016. The pilot episode was shown shortly before that - at the end of 2015. The plot is based on the comic series "Sandman" by DC Comics, from which the character Lucifer Morningstar was borrowed. The premiere of this show immediately caused confusion in religious circles - believers believe that the plot substitutes values and portrays the Devil in a positive light. However, despite this, shortly after the premiere of the first season in early 2016, the show was renewed for a second season, which was expanded from 13 to 26 episodes compared to the previous one.
