The Magicians Season 3

The premiere of the third season of "The Magicians" is scheduled for January 10, 2018. Groundswell Productions, a film company involved in promoting American fantasy drama, has announced the decision to renew the series.

The final of the second part will take place in April 2017. The broadcast is on the television channel "Syfy". The story is based on the eponymous work by Lev Grossman, first published in 2009.

Plot of Season 3

The main character has been studying everything mysterious and unusual his whole life. His unhealthy obsession with a magical book led the guy to a psychiatric hospital. However, he managed to escape from the walls of the medical institution and finish high school. Soon, he is contacted by strange personalities who invited him to undergo testing for enrollment at "Brakebills" - a place where extraordinary and supernatural phenomena become commonplace. Quentin Coldwater enthusiastically began to study, and over time mastered the basics of magic. Studying was by no means easy for him. The stern teachers prepared difficult challenges for gifted students and expelled anyone who couldn't cope with the difficulties. The young man and his friends quickly realize that certain forces threaten the safety of all of humanity. The guys travel to a fairyland they read about in childhood and try to save the world.

The key roles were performed by Jason Ralph, who appeared in the TV series "Blue Bloods" and "Aquarius," Stella Maeve, who participated in the films "The Runaways" and "House M.D.," Olivia Taylor Dudley, known for the shows "The Mindy Project" and "Arrested Development".

The premiere episode was able to be appreciated by the audience on December 16, 2015. Each season consists of 13 episodes. The script tells the story of young people who intend to resist a powerful enemy using their magic spells.
