Meryem Season 2

Dzhengiz Kyoten, Executive Producer of the Turkish drama project "Meriem" revealed that the release of Season 2 is planned for the summer of 2018.

The final of the first part was broadcasted on the TV channel "Kanal D" in December 2017. This creation is a remake of the Korean TV show called "Secret".

What will happen in the 2nd season

The main heroine possesses attractive appearance and a kind heart. She dreams of a strong family and is ready to make maximum efforts to fulfill her cherished desire in the shortest period of time. The lady meets a handsome young man and they develop a romantic relationship. Oktyay tries to build a brilliant career. He works as a city prosecutor and has great hopes. One day, he unintentionally commits a crime. The guy hits a defenseless woman with his vehicle. He decides not to save the stranger's life and cowardly escapes from the accident scene. The passerby dies, so he faces a considerable prison sentence. With the intention of saving her beloved, his virtuous chosen one agrees to take responsibility for his actions upon herself. The trial begins. After the verdict is issued, she is sent behind bars. The young individual doesn't regret her deed, firmly believing that her chosen one will wait for her release. But after her release, she faces severe trials.

The main roles are played by: Furkan Andich, the star of the series "Runaway Brides" and "Offended Flowers", Jamal Toktas, who has participated in movies "Dog" and "I Saw the Sun", Adzhelia Topaloglu, who played in films "Among Friends" and "Love against All Odds", and other artists.

The premiere episode was aired on August 2, 2017. There are a total of 22 episodes. The plot revolves around a naive beauty who makes desperate attempts to overcome a terrible blow of fate.
