The television series "Meryem" appeared on screens in 2017 and was directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan. He recreated the remake of the famous drama "The Secret of Secret Love" and released it on Kanal D on August 2nd. Initially, the original title of the film was "The Story of Forgotten Love". The main characters were played by Furkan Andıç and Ayça Ayşin Turan, who impeccably performed their roles.

Meryem was an ordinary girl who was madly in love with Oktay. At that time, the young man was rudely deceiving her and secretly meeting a rich mistress at a hotel. Recently, he was planning to end his relationship with the naive Meryem. After all, he had a promising future as a prosecutor, and the simple-minded girl was clearly not a match for him anymore. After dinner at a restaurant, the couple was driving home in the girl's car, with Oktay behind the wheel, who had been drinking. But at that moment, Meryem couldn't persuade him. It was raining heavily outside, and then Sevinch ended up on the road, whom Oktay hit. Frightened, he told Meryem that they simply crashed into a concrete barrier. But the traffic cameras recorded the incident. So, being extremely afraid for his reputation and position, Oktay suggests to the girl to say that she was driving the car. Meryem's blind love pushed her to confess to something she didn't do. And now her life depended on the new prosecutor, who happened to be Oktay.
