On May 10, 2017, Julia Menshova posted a joyful message on Instagram: "The script for the second season is already being written, filming starts in the fall of 2017, and the premiere is scheduled for spring 2018".

The script of the TV series "Between Us Girls" takes viewers to the apartment of the Kuznetsov-Saiko family, who live in the provincial town of Tetyushevo. One house connects three women: grandmother Irayda Stepanovna, her daughter Elena, and granddaughter-student Olesya. After the youngest resident brings her fiance, Nikita, into the house, the normal order of life in the family is disrupted. Initially, the changes are met with resistance, but they have a favorable effect on the happiness of the other female residents in the apartment.
The main roles in the show were played by Yulia Menshova (Lena), Natalya Skomorokhova as Olesya, and Galina Petrova as Irayda. The director is Alexey Kiryushenko. These cultural figures do not need an introduction to fans of this genre.
The premiere of the previous part took place on May 25, 2015. A total of 20 episodes, each 45 minutes long, were aired on the Russia-1 channel in the territory of the Russian Federation.
