On June 3, 2013, the American cable channel ABC began airing the series "Mistresses" by K.J. Steinberg. The show is an adaptation of the eponymous British show that aired from 2008 to 2010.

The plot of this love drama takes us into the lives of four close friends. At first glance, they all appear to be different types, but they are united by one thing - they are all mistresses who sleep with other men. The first among them is Savannah, who, while married, starts a romance with her business partner at the law firm. This leads to conflicts in her marriage. The younger sister of the aforementioned woman, Josslyn, works as a real estate agent but changes partners like gloves due to her insatiable nature. Their friend Karen, who works as a therapist at a hospital, develops a relationship with a terminally ill patient. And the last one, April, recently became a widow, received insurance payments, and can't seem to forget her late husband. But not long ago, she learns that her husband cheated on her and had an illegitimate child. Together, the friends overcome the difficulties of everyday life, fall in love, build relationships, get involved in intrigues, and break hearts...
