Okhota na diavola Season 3

The release of the 3rd season of the Russian detective TV series "Okhota na diavola" is tentatively scheduled for the first half of 2018, as stated by producer Timur Vainstein.

The final episode of the second season was shown in spring 2017. The broadcast is carried out on the television channel "NTV". The action takes place at the beginning of the 20th century. This time is marked by a series of outstanding discoveries made thanks to the hard work of famous scientists and researchers.

What will be shown in season 2

Two decades ago, the main character left the military intelligence service and moved to permanent residence in Finland. The former officer chose a completely different path in life and became a film director. However, after years, his military past starts to make itself known. He was drawn into a large-scale conspiracy. Government structures of various powerful states suddenly became interested in the technology of creating effective weapons capable of leading to global consequences. Each country participating in the race for the right to possess it understands that the owner of the secret development will gain unprecedented power and a unique opportunity to dictate its terms to other states. Levitin cannot allow such a turn of events and decides to return to his homeland.

The main roles were played by Sergey Bezrukov, who became famous thanks to his talented acting in many cinematic masterpieces, including "Azazel" and "Beggars", as well as Ilya Lyubimov, the star of the films "Classmates" and "The Ship", Artem Tkachenko, who appeared in projects "Cuckoo" and "Celestial Relatives", and other artists.

The premiere took place on March 13, 2017. A total of 16 episodes were released. The plot revolves around a scientist-physicist who invented a super-powerful weapon capable of destroying the whole planet, and a retired soldier, who is called upon to prevent the catastrophe from happening.
