"Open Microphone" is a unique humorous creation of the TNT channel, introducing new talented comedians to the country. Anyone can become a participant, be it a doctor, a music teacher, a sixth-class locksmith, or anyone else, regardless of gender, age, religion, or skin color. The only main requirement here is to be very funny and original. The creator and producer of the "Stand Up" show, Ruslan Bely, came up with and brought this project to life, looking for new talented faces.

The TV show "Open Microphone" provides its stage to talented stand-up comedians from Russia and all corners of the world. Absolutely anyone can come and tell their crazy life stories, in order to ultimately win the main prize - to become a part of the "Stand Up" humor team. The participants are evaluated by real professionals: the fair and serious Ruslan Bely, the romantic Belarusian "giant" Slava Komisarenko, the charming and feminine Yulia Ahmedova, and the insanely charismatic Timur Karginov from the North Caucasus. Supporting the participants throughout the episodes of the TV show will be the new resident of Comedy Club, Andrey Beburishvili. Each member of the jury will have to assemble their own team of the most promising comedians in their view, to teach them their craft, share accumulated experience, and help them fully realize themselves. As a result of the humorous duels, only one winner will remain, and they will become the new resident of the aforementioned show. The battle for the main prize among debutant stand-uppers will be quite intense.
