The management of Channel One does not rush to announce the fate of the adaptation of the American version of "Prison Break." It is most likely that the third season of the show will not appear at all, as film critics shamefully laughed at the attempts to make a Russian version of "Prison Break" - IMDB rated the premiere at 3.3, and Kinopoisk at 3.2 out of 10 possible points. The only advantage of the series is the idea that Russian television bought from its foreign colleagues. If production of the third season is decided to be resumed, the premiere will not be earlier than 2017.

In the second season of the series "Prison Break," the directors had to reduce the original number of episodes to 16, instead of the planned 22. The plot itself remained practically unchanged - Kirill Panin and his brother Alexei Chernov escaped from a correctional colony. Along the way, they search for diamonds, which were told to them by Solomon Fridman before his death, but they only find more problems. To escape the country unnoticed, they use a yacht and head towards Crimea, from which they hope to cross to the other side of the Black Sea to Turkey. But their plan fails and the guys are captured by special forces at the pier. In the third season, if it comes out, the brothers will again face prison...

A total of 38 episodes have been released in two seasons. The script is gradually approaching the middle of the original series of the FOX channel.
