The TV series "Mediator" by the STS channel is based on the book "Main Noon" by Alexander Mirer, which was published back in 1969. The scriptwriters of the series tried to preserve the maximum plotlines while also adapting it to our time.

The main character of the series is a teenager named Gleb Losev. Due to his family circumstances, he runs away from home to the city of Tugarin, where his grandmother lives on his father's side. Escaping from one set of problems, he finds himself in a completely different one. Unthinkable events took place in the city during Soviet times, which were classified as "Top Secret" until now. Gleb comes into possession of a simple device called "Mediator," whose main task is to transfer extraterrestrials into human bodies. This immediately makes him an enemy of the Russian special services and an unknown extraterrestrial force that is searching for him throughout the province. The majority of the city's residents are extraterrestrials who have been transferred into human bodies.

The premiere of the new series is planned for the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016. It seems that STS is starting a new season of shows with a lot of science fiction. Let's watch together to see what comes out of it.
