What will happen in the fifth season

In the previous part of the TV series, the Prosecutor of the Russian capital took up the Piatnitsky police department, where illegal actions are committed under the leadership of Irina Zimina. The principled government employee wants to bring the case to an end and deal with the corrupt cops. The head of the department, in which the employees crossed the line of the law in order to uphold justice, is now forced to stop or kill an innocent person. The new season of the "Piatnitckii" series will begin with escaping the consequences of the crimes committed by the employees of the local police department.

Recently, NTV channel reminded about its TV series - a documentary film "Piatnitckii. Afterword" was shown on air. It described not only the details of the past season, but also some details of the fifth chapter.

The release date of the new episodes of the series is planned for autumn 2019. The premiere is expected in November.
