The happy couple spends a considerable amount of time together and starts contemplating a future together. But an unpleasant incident interferes with their plans. Criminal elements start hunting down the lady's beloved, so he entrusts valuable records to his other half. She promises to keep the compromising material on his boss and not to open the notebook under any circumstances. However, the gang leader Epifanio, who has decided to devote himself to politics, is determined to catch the main heroine, who has gone on the run. Together with her best friend and her underage child, she leaves Mexico and heads to Texas, where she immediately falls into the clutches of a stubborn and egocentric drug baroness.

The key roles were played by Alice Braga, who has participated in feature films "The Shack" and "The Duel", Justina Machado, who has appeared in the films "The Call" and "Devious Maids", Peter Gadiot, who has been featured in the projects "Matador" and "Supergirl", and some other artists.
