The 4th season of the crime drama is not yet finished, but the viewer is already eager to know if there will be a continuation. In September 2016, the last episode of the current season, which became a continuation of Allen Coulter's cult series "Ray Donovan," will be released.

The release date for the next season 5 has been set for August 6, 2017. The filming will be directed by Michael Apted, who has promised to bring the concept of the television channel "Showtime" and the film studio "The Mark Gordon Company" to the best possible form.

The plot of the film Ray Donovan revolves around an Irishman living in Los Angeles, whose main source of income is helping very wealthy people. And this help is quite specific: spoiled rich people, due to endless parties, drug addiction, and a reckless lifestyle, constantly get into unworthy situations, often related to crime. Ray's task is to prevent even a fraction of compromising information from becoming known to the public. He handles his work perfectly, but solving personal problems is a real challenge for him. In the new season, the audience will delve even deeper into the family troubles of the Donovans, related to their father coming out of prison, sick brothers, and a jealous wife.

The first episode of the film was shown at the end of June 2013, opening a season of 12 captivating episodes and telling the story of Ray's first serious case and how he skillfully managed to get rid of all the negative consequences. In the future, Donovan becomes more professional, and his tasks become more interesting.
