A fantasy thriller from the film studio "BBC One", "New Pictures" and "All3Media International" started in February 2018. Catherine Dudley, executive producer of the series, who also produced the English adaptation of the adventures of holistic detective Dirk Gently, became one of the executive producers of the series.

Matilda Gray is a talented cellist with great potential. An up-and-coming star confidently builds her career, but the sudden news of her mother's death leaves the girl in shock. The suicide of a close and beloved person shocks and surprises her, as there were no obvious reasons to take one's own life. Sorting through the belongings in her mother's house, Matilda comes across information linking her mother and a little girl who went missing in the Welsh principality in the distant year of 1994. Deciding to find out the reasons behind what happened, Gray, along with her best friend Hal, sets off to a small Welsh village. Local resident Nick offers his help in the investigation, but his behavior raises serious suspicions for Matilda. Soon she realizes that all her mother's stories are a fabrication, hiding the secret of a dark community. The girl's arrival awakens dark and dangerous forces that have been waiting for her return for many years. Now going back seems impossible.
