A black comedy from the TV company "Lakeshore Entertainment" started in March 2018. The number of dislikes received when the first teaser was released on YouTube exceeded the number of likes, but the remake of the film with the same name, released in 1989, still came out.

Veronica Sawyer, trying to earn attention and authority, finally became one of the members of the school group that terrorizes all students. A trio consisting of a plus-size girl, a transgender person, and a lesbian, thrives on their classmates, trying to cover up their own fears and insecurities. Soon Veronica realizes her dislike for her new friends and shares her experiences with her new friend, J.D., who recently appeared at school. The boy enthusiastically accepts Sawyer's torment and suggests getting revenge on the arrogant individuals. Sneaking into Heather Chandler's room, the leader of the group, the guys decide to take a couple of compromising photos and post them on social media. However, the girl notices the intruders, ruining the plans. Undeterred, J.D. deceitfully makes Chandler take an antiemetic pill. The suggested pill turns out to be lethal and leads to the girl's death. Trying to cover their tracks, the young people urgently write posts about suicidal thoughts on Heather's personal accounts. Despite their subsequent success, Veronica and J.D. face cruel retribution. They find out that Chandler is alive.
