The middle of 2018 on "Perviy Kanal" will be marked by the premiere of the TV series "Savva". The film's director Vano Burduli made his debut in such a large-scale project. The events unfold in a small village where a ruthless serial maniac has been operating recently.

The key character of the movie, investigator Savchenko, is not coincidentally in the countryside. The experienced detective from the capital is assigned by the authorities to investigate a series of tragedies, as the local police officers are being killed one by one, becoming victims of the criminal. The bodies of three operatives, who had just started the search operation, were found in the depths of the forest. Savva himself is a secretive and suspicious person. He prefers solitude and silence in his work, and uses psychological techniques with opponents, allowing him to hook the dialogue participant on the most intimate details of their lives, thus extracting the truth. Among the locals, the Moscow guest identifies Andrey as his partner, who unleashed a real war against a criminal gang while trying to save his younger sister from their pressure. Savchenko immediately learns about his colleague's personal experiences and uses them for his own selfish purposes, developing versions regarding the increasing number of murders in the area.
