Selection Day Season 2

A media service Netflix employee announced their intention to broadcast the 2nd season of the Indian TV series "Selection Day" in the second half of 2019.

Netflix plans to show the final episode of season 1 in early 2019. The main character is an underage boy who faces certain difficulties.

What will be shown in season 2

A charismatic guy lived in Mumbai and didn't think about global changes. At the age of 14, he hadn't achieved much. The young man was good at cricket and almost every day found time for his favorite hobby. He was making progress in his chosen direction and dreamed of linking his future with an interesting sport. However, it is difficult to stand out at his age. He lives in a not very prosperous area and does not have the opportunity to earn money on his own. Despite everything, one day a talented athlete makes a useful acquaintance with a hardworking coach who notices the talented troublemaker and decides to invite him to try out for the adult team. In a favorable scenario, he will get a chance to train with 19-year-old players, including his older brother. The key character is ready to overcome any obstacles and do everything to assert his right to occupy a place in the league. He should not count on the support of his busy father, who works constantly and gets incredibly tired. However, the huge desire to escape poverty and make a loud statement about himself forces the hardworking guy to hone his existing skills and achieve confident victories over energetic competitors.
