The renowned film director S.S. Jones has shot a dramatic series "Shooter" based on the legendary book by Vietnamese frontline soldier Steven Hunter. The premiere is expected to take place on the "USA Network" channel at the end of 2016, and it is based on the events of the eponymous action film.

Bob Lee Swagger stands out among other "soldierphobes" with his impressive combat skills, resourcefulness, and humanity towards the victims of war. For a significant part of his difficult life, he served in the Marine Corps, participating in dangerous strategic "hunts" against the enemy, taking numerous opponents down with his sniper scope. However, after finally finding peace in a cloudless and conflict-free existence far away from the horrors of the battlefield, this tough soldier has no idea where to find "purpose". One day, completely by chance, he overhears a confidential conversation about a planned attack on the American president: someone is greatly dissatisfied with the established political regime! The conspiracy involves the "elite" of society, and now elite special services have started a ruthless hunt for the accidental witness. They are obligated to foil any vile trick, just to ensure a bloody elimination takes place and a new power reigns...
