Snowpiercer Season 2

A representative of the film company Tomorrow Studios stated that the 2nd season of the science fiction TV series "Snowpiercer" will be shown at the end of 2020.

The finale of the first season is scheduled to be broadcast on the "TNT" channel at the end of 2019. The story is based on a foreign film of the same name.

Announcement of Season 2 Script

The events take place on a planet whose inhabitants have experienced a terrible apocalypse. Due to a sudden change in climate conditions, life on Earth has undergone significant changes. An unexpected warming began. The citizens were not prepared for such trials. Talented researchers made attempts to prevent a tragedy of universal scale and stabilize the situation. Despite the meticulous work, the scientists failed to accomplish the task. Most people perished. Soon, a powerful corporation released a unique drug. Its use led to new complications. An ice age began. The experiment, on which the defenseless population had pinned great hopes, failed miserably. Only a few hundred people survived. Now they move exclusively on a special train. However, not everyone is satisfied with the fact that the privileged people occupy the most comfortable seats. The lower classes have to settle for little. The poor plan to stage an uprising and drive the rich into less habitable cars.

The following artists participated in the project: Jennifer Connelly, who starred in the films "The House on Carroll Street" and "Shelter", Mickey Sumner, involved in feature films "Caught" and "Battle of the Sexes", Aaron Glenane, noticed in the movies "Truth" and "Broke", and others.

The premiere will take place on November 18, 2019. The drama revolves around several brave citizens who hope to protect themselves and their loved ones.
