Plot of Season 7 Episode 1

A young married couple wanted to take a break from their gray everyday life and recharge. With this goal in mind, they went to Italy and left their young daughter in the care of their parents. At first, the older generation refused this honorable mission, citing their busyness. However, Maria and Maxim were surprised when on the appointed day, two sets of grandparents came to see their child. This is where the real uncontrolled struggle for the attention of the beloved granddaughter begins. Some of them, representatives of the intelligentsia, strive to teach the girl excellent manners and proper behavior in society. Unlike them, the Budko spouses have lived their whole lives in a remote village and are used to indulging the whims of the little girl. While the adults are sorting out their relationships, Zhenya tries to reconcile both sides and establish a normal atmosphere in the family.

The key roles were played by Fyodor Dobronravov, who starred in feature films "Wonderland" and "Radio Day", Lyudmila Artemyeva, a star of TV series "Courtyard" and "Lapushki", Anatoly Vasilyev, known for the films "I Will Remember" and "Crew" and other actors.

The premiere took place on December 28, 2008. A total of 64 episodes have been released. Two elderly couples, together with their beloved granddaughter, settled under one roof and try to reconcile each other's shortcomings. Despite ongoing disagreements, they gradually become good friends.
