Svideteli Season 2

On NTV, the second season of the series Svideteli will not be released earlier than 2018. The group of celebrated screenwriters, led by Yevgeny Shchedrin and Yuri Kamenetsky, who worked on the crime drama, has started developing the sequel, which is planned to be filmed in the autumn of 2017.

The series is set to premiere on NTV channel in early 2017. The project tells the story of the difficult everyday lives of police officers tirelessly catching criminals who have taken over the streets of their hometown. A special division was organized for these purposes. The employees of the Investigation and Analytical Department (IAD) take on the most difficult and ambiguous cases. In search of evidence, the team relies not on the testimonies of living witnesses, who can lie if necessary, but on modern technologies such as surveillance cameras, video recorders, motion sensors, and other similar devices.

What will happen in Season 2

The team is led by an experienced man named Andrey Gromov, who holds the rank of lieutenant colonel. The team has the latest gadgets in their arsenal, helping them to quickly track down criminals. In the second season, the crimes promise to be even more intricate, and the outcome is unpredictable. In each episode, the characters are tasked with finding the culprits. No detail will be unnoticed by the operatives, and the robbers will receive their deserved punishment.

The main roles are played by Nikolay Serdcev, Tatyana Khamova, Ekaterina Builova, Stanislav Povolnov, and other talented actors. The directing team is also noteworthy, including the creators of "Sled" Yuri Kharnas and "Police from Rublevka" Mikhail Bogdasarov.

The detective story consists of 80 episodes. Each of them inevitably ends with a successful conclusion of another investigation. The guilty parties will be caught and brought to justice.
