An American comedy about the everyday lives of medical workers who sometimes sacrifice even their personal lives for their patients. It is noteworthy that the director of the TV series is Mindy Kaling, who also played the role of the main heroine.

In her youth, Mindy Lahiri loved romantic comedies with talented Meg Ryan and adored the classics of this genre written by Nora Ephron. Now, at just over thirty, the woman has made a successful career as an obstetrician-gynecologist in one of the country's best clinics. She enjoys well-deserved authority among the hospital staff and management. However, in the love department, things are not going as well for the leading doctor as in her work life. The girl cannot seem to find a suitable partner for herself. The only person with whom she can indulge in intimate pleasures at the moment is her reckless colleague, Jeremy. One might assume that this situation arose because the doctor spends all her time at work and is not an ideal sexual partner. But in reality, Mindy just has quite unpleasant habits, and hardly anyone can tolerate the difficult nature of a successful gynecologist. She values herself very highly, is irritable, and has a quick-tempered character, making it really difficult to get along with her. But maybe Mindy simply hasn't met a man who will appreciate her qualities and carry her on his hands, despite all her flaws.
