The television series is a Russian remake of a popular and interesting American film called "Overboard," starring Kurt Russell.

Bright and well-groomed thirty-five-year-old woman Elena, going on a yacht cruise with her fiance, could not imagine what this romantic walk along the Volga would end with. In the provincial backwoods, their wiring burns out, and now the spouses are forced to seek help in a quiet town called Zavolzhsk. Electrician Dmitry, who arrived to help them, becomes the object of the rich beauty's anger, she drives the man away, refusing to even pay for his work. At night, the girl accidentally falls out of the yacht and her husband, thinking that the offended beauty simply went home, calmly sails away. Learning that a woman who remembers nothing about herself is lying in the city polyclinic, electrician Dima recognizes his offender and decides to take revenge on the arrogant wealthy woman. The man calls her his wife, persuades the doctors that it will be much easier for their patient to remember everything in her native surroundings, and takes her home, where Lena is awaited by household chores and a bunch of children. She really can't remember anything and goes along with the widower, and later, after going through all the hardships of provincial life and raising children, she falls in love with the cunning joker whom she drove away from their family boat without paying for his work.
