The Mist release date
The Spike TV channel has announced the start of a new project - the mini-series "The Mist". The role of executive producer for the pilot episode was entrusted to Christian Torpa. He is tasked with writing a worthy screenplay based on Stephen King's story with the same name.
The plot of the series revolves around mysterious events that took place in a small American town called Bridgton. This town is located in the state of Maine and one day it becomes engulfed in a thick mist. Hidden in the shadows of the endless fog are terrifying monsters that haunt the residents of Bridgton. Cut off from the rest of the world and frightened, the people are forced to fight for their lives every day. Several people find themselves trapped in a local store. In their attempts to escape their confined space, they have to overcome many difficulties. However, their lives depend on the success of this venture, so they have no time to think. It's time to act. In the process, it's best to forget about hope because some face a terrible death and others face the unknown.
Spike TV positions this project as its first attempt to create entertainment content. It is expected to be oriented towards a wide audience, not just the male audience as before.
