The AMC channel in conjunction with the English BBC One are working on the creation of the series "The Night Manager", which will premiere in early 2016. The show is being directed by Danish director Susanne Bier, who has been nominated for top film awards and has won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

The plot will tell the story of the manager of a European hotel. His seemingly simple life is turned upside down when he accidentally finds himself working for the intelligence agencies. Jonathan Pine, the night manager, will be recruited to infiltrate a criminal organization that trades weapons on an international level. As a former soldier, he gets closer and closer to the main seller and his girlfriend. The script leads him straight to the White House in Washington.

This show was announced in January 2015, and filming began in London in the spring of the same year. It is planned to release only 6 episodes in the first season of the series, and nothing is known about the second. The main roles were given to stars with a worldwide reputation, so you can confidently expect a worthy multi-series drama.
