True Detective release date

The TV series "True Detective" from the HBO channel was launched on air at the beginning of 2014. The show has a rather rare genre for modern American television - neo-noir detective, which was characteristic of crime films in the 30s and later in the 70s of the last century. A prominent feature of the plot of these films is the presence of pessimism, mistrust, and psychological drama surrounding the characters.

The story tells about the lives of Martin Hart and Rust Cohle, who have been working together as detectives since 1995. The script encompasses three different periods of time: '95, '02, and '12. In their first encounter, they started with a case in Louisiana, where they investigated the mysterious and quite brutal murder of a woman. The first time the killer went unpunished, but a similar handwriting in a crime committed in 2012 compels them to reopen the investigation into the "Yellow King." There are no doubts that it is a serial killer. The cops will have to join forces to find the culprit, but besides that, they also have their own secret hidden in time...

The second season of the series had a completely different plot and became more of a continuation of the style rather than the story of the series. In addition, the new season marked a completely different cast. Despite these changes, the TV series "True Detective" from the HBO cable channel enjoys tremendous popularity and has already received an award for the best opening titles at the "Emmy 2014". It was also a nominee for the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and George Awards in 2015.

As expected, the creator of the successful show, Nic Pizzolatto, will prepare for us a completely new plot and possibly a completely new cast in the third season.
