One of the most anticipated premieres from CBS in 2016 is the series "How I Met Your Father". The plot will be a spin-off of the popular sitcom "How I Met Your Mother", which aired for 9 years (from 2005 to 2014) and consists of over 200 episodes.

The main character of the show will be a girl named Sally, who will be telling her children about how she met their father. The story unfolds from a series of failures that haunt her - she has just divorced her first husband. Her faithful friends, who also live nearby in New York, help her cope with this situation. At first, she has no idea what to do. Strength of character and the support of people around her guide her in her search for a new partner, ultimately showing that life doesn't end after divorce.

Just like with the original show, we expect that the creator of the idea, Carter Bays, along with the team of writers, will once again keep the secret of Sally's chosen one until the very end. It is still unknown how similar the series will be, but fans definitely await the development of the concept, rather than a repetition of Ted Mosby's life.
