Often, extraordinary cases occur during their shifts, and colleagues have the opportunity to joke about their surroundings, relieving the oppressive atmosphere of anonymous wards and empty corridors. And sometimes the staff has to make the right decision in an emergency - if every minute counts, any confusion can result in the patient's untimely death.
