The creators of the film, Lee Rose and David Semel, revealed to curious observers stories from the lives of ordinary doctors in the Los Angeles emergency department. Starting from September 30, their work will be shown on the CBS channel.

Dr. Leanne Rorish and her colleagues are forced to save patients' lives despite the hospital's low level of equipment and the constant lack of competent staff. This strong-willed lady is an example of an excellent educator and talented doctor, which is why young residents willingly join her team under her careful guidance every year. However, sometimes the wise leader does not find understanding with some members of the team, like surgeon Neil Hudson, who prefers to work in a free style. Due to different perspectives on patient treatment methods, he is considered an unconventional employee. Mrs. Rorish's right-hand and constant advisor is junior staff leader Jesse Sallander. The hardworking and responsible colleague keeps an eye on newcomers, who sometimes create peculiar situations. Now Krista Lorenson, Maya Pineda, Angus Liton, and Mario Savetti are also working here, who have yet to learn the intricacies of the job. Each resident has their own motivation for exploring the secrets of medicine.
