Netflix decided to adapt an interesting saga. The authorship belongs to the novelist Andrzej Sapkowski, who kindly agreed to consult the show's creators.

The story unfolds in an imaginary reality. Viewers will find themselves in an ambiguous place, where they can encounter not only ordinary townspeople but also individuals with supernatural abilities. Extraordinary beings live alongside the non-conflicting population and sometimes inspire terrifying fear in them. The common people have somewhat resigned to the presence of unusual personalities. Some do not pay any attention to the activities of these strange entities, while others feel an incredible threat. Some of the inhabitants have no desire to share the conquered lands with mages and various creatures. Soon it becomes clear that powerless representatives of humanity urgently need protection. The frightened people hope for the support of courageous warriors. An incredible hope is placed on an ambitious man from Rivia, who diligently seeks his own destiny. The mysterious Witcher has a determined character and intends to engage in immediate confrontation with ruthless monsters. Geralt has earned the respect of both affluent noblemen and the poor. The brave and healthy man is not afraid of evil creatures and does everything for the triumph of justice.
