Executive producer of the "A+E" network Nancy Dubuc admitted in an interview on June 2, 2016 that the Lifetime channel is preparing to renew the multi-series drama for the next part. The premiere of the third season of the series "UnReal" by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro will take place on February 26, 2018. A total of 10 new episodes are planned to be filmed.

What to expect in season 3

The directors of the "Everlasting" project (a fictional version of the popular reality show "The Bachelor") will bring in a new guy. The girls, who were strictly selected from all over the United States, compete for the heart of the main character. However, only one of the project's heroines will be able to become his potential legitimate spouse. Viewers will have the opportunity to dive into the behind-the-scenes of this reality show and witness the battle of the weaker sex for money and fame.

The series "UnReal" from the Lifetime cable channel premiered on June 1, 2015. The first two seasons consisted of 20 episodes each with a duration of up to an hour. The project's script tells the story of the reverse side of the reality show "Everlasting" and also shows how its filming actually takes place. The idea for the show was acquired after the screening of a short film called "Sequin Raze" by Sarah Gertrude Shapiro and Marti Noxon, which was shown in 2013 at a film festival.
