Robert Berens, the screenwriter and executive producer of the sci-fi series "Wayward Sisters," revealed that the second season can be expected in autumn 2021.
The season 1 finale is expected to be released on the television channel "The CW" in the first half of 2020. This drama is a spin-off of the cult creation "Supernatural". The main heroes of the show are women who have come together to fight supernatural evil.

The central figure of the narrative becomes the brave woman named Jody Mills, who is already familiar to the audience. In the past, she had a close-knit family. She was married to a decent man and gave birth to a wonderful son in their marriage. But one day, a terrible tragedy happened to her close relatives, who were employees of law enforcement agencies. Because of the uncontrolled activity of an evil force, she lost her husband and child all at once. The poor woman emerged from the horrifying depression thanks to the unexpected appearance of two brothers named Winchester in her life. The boys told her about the presence of demons, werewolves, and other bloodthirsty creatures in the world. They are all obsessed with the idea of seizing power over humanity. Over time, the brave woman joins the team and helps solve emerging problems. The sheriff gave shelter to the young ones - Alex, who lived in a vampire clan, and the orphaned Claire. Together with her new friend Donna, she challenges the malevolent monsters.
The TV series features: Briana Buckmaster, who starred in the movies "In My Dreams" and "Genetic Opera", Kathryn Newton, who was involved in the films "Cherries" and "Lady Bird", Kim Rhodes, who played in the movies "Midnight Kiss" and "Christmas with Losers", and other actors.
The full project is planned to be released in January 2018. However, the pilot episode can be seen as part of one of the episodes of the 13th season of the TV show "Supernatural". At the center of the story are charming police officers who were not afraid to confront the lords of hell.
