The creators did not want to reward the heroes with exclusive appearance. The characters appeared before the fans exactly as they were drawn by the talented artist Phil Bourassa.

A few ambitious and persistent young boys intended to become powerful superheroes who stand on the side of honest comrades and legislation. They are greatly disappointed because the older generation is in no hurry to place special hopes on the troublemakers. Despite the distrust of the wise fighters against crime, the heroes do not give up and dream of demonstrating their skills. The key characters form their own league. It includes self-confident teenagers who are sure of their exclusivity and invincibility. Young Robin makes persistent attempts to resemble the legendary teacher. The charismatic guy adopted certain habits from Batman and hurried to prove himself as a skillful and brave leader. Superboy significantly differs from the prototype. The guy hardly takes off his black T-shirt and prefers to do without a silly cape. Aqualad organizes the team's work and directs them on the necessary path. It is this daring guy who has the key authority. The final outcome of the assignments depends on his opinion. Desperate teenagers have to listen to each other. This is necessary in order to timely be beside the citizens who need protection.
