The TV series ZKD is part of a line of new shows on the TNT channel that were created in 2014-2016 to expand the audience. The first season was shown in March 2015 from Monday to Thursday at 22:00. Despite the late time, the series had more than enough fans. The continuation of the show was filmed in just one year, but it was prepared for airing closer to 2017.

The selection of actors for the series was personally carried out by the screenwriter and creator of the idea, Ilya Kulikov. The main characters were played by Aristarkh Venes, Nikita Pavlenko, A. Melnikov, I. Ogurtsov and D. Vakhrushev, who respectively played Tim, Kostya "Tsypa", Gosh, Anton "Zhuk" and Philip "Gufi".
The actions of the series "Law of the Stone Jungles" transport viewers to teenagers from a Moscow residential area.
