Initially, Richard worked as a journalist. After graduating from university, he got a job in Japan. The German embassy knew him as Ramzay. Now he has become a spy. Sorge had access to classified information and was also well-connected with the most influential personalities of the Soviet Union. The young man participated in World War I and formed a negative attitude towards military actions. Therefore, when he learns about Adolf Hitler's intentions to attack the Union, Richard immediately starts sending telegrams one after another. And although this could seriously harm his cover, Sorge tries to contact the headquarters. However, they do not believe him and prohibit him from sending messages. Later, thanks to Richard Sorge, about twenty divisions were sent to the capital, which helped to repel the unexpected attack of the fascist army. Sorge's personal life is also complicated. His real wife faced repression in the Union. In Japan, Richard was involved with Hanako Isii. He also had a secret affair with Helma, the wife of the German ambassador.
