Aftermath release date

The Canadian series "Aftermath" premiered on screens in the United States and Canada in September 2016. The main roles in the sci-fi drama were given to James Tupper and Anne Heche. While James is known only for insignificant roles in series such as "How I Met Your Mother" or "Grey's Anatomy", Anne Heche has already made a name for herself with a series of strong works, for example, in the crime drama "John Q", the comedy "Wag the Dog", and the thriller "Force Majeure".

The apocalypse is coming. Numerous earthquakes are tearing the earth apart, a deadly epidemic is raging, and the elements are diligently destroying a civilization that is under the threat of extinction. But that's not all: supernatural forces come into play, and otherworldly creatures and previously unknown predatory animals begin to manifest to humans.

The plot revolves around the Copeland family, a large family headed by Joshua (James Tupper) - a university professor studying world culture, and Karen (Anne Heche) - a former U.S. Air Force pilot. The spouses and their three children set off from North Pasco, Washington, towards Yakima in their trailer, in order to survive the terrifying natural disasters and mass madness. But, as we know, the path to salvation is thorny and full of dangers.
