It so happened that autumn is a traditional time for the release of Russian cinema novelties. Thus, "Channel Five" has planned to launch the comedy-drama series "Bars" in November 2017, which is an adaptation of the American detective series "Castle".

The "expectations" rating of the domestic competitor is already impressive - over 9.3 on Kinopoisk, so it can be stated with 100% guarantee that a 2nd season and so on will follow the first.

Moreover, the creators of the aforementioned "Castle" did not limit themselves to one season - the project triumphantly marched around the world for 8 years. And what about the "World Russian Studios" producing the series "Bars", compared to their overseas colleagues?

The main character of the series "Bars" is the popular detective writer Alexander Bars. The man is a connoisseur and frequent consumer of the attributes of a luxurious life: casinos, parties, mansions in Rublyovka, luxury cars. Although he shares the same name and is a colleague of Pushkin, he does not suffer from poverty: rapidly sold book editions provide him with decent fees. As a result, the hero is a desirable trophy for many women. However, for now, Bars's heart and wallet belong only to his mother and his daughter - a teenager who stayed to live with her father and grandmother after the divorce. Unfortunately, even the festive life can become boring for an intellectual and sybarite: everything in it is predictable... However, the tranquility of the writer is destined to be disturbed by a woman who professionally catches those very violators of the world order, so masterfully described in the works of Bars - Major Maria Koroleva. The police's grievances against Bars are a series of murders committed exactly according to the plots of Alexander's detective novels. The main character cannot stay away from the resonant case and joins Koroleva's investigative team. The charming investigator and talented writer together solve even the most elaborate crimes. Since the capture of the main antagonist of the series is delayed, and the relationship between the partners becomes more ambiguous with each passing day, the finale of the romantic detective story is pushed to the 2nd season of "Bars".

The cast of the series consists entirely of prominent names: Alexey Chumakov (Alexander Bars), Anna Snatkina (Maria Koroleva), Larisa Udovichenko (Diana Valentinovna). Singer Chumakov Lesh is not a debutant in the big screen for a long time ("I Will Get Married Urgently"), but he looks fresh and organic in his role. Perhaps because he himself writes and publishes books in his free time from touring? ("The Color of the Last Sunset," "In Search of Ghosts," "47").
