Black Sails Season 3

The second season of the pirate series "Black Sails" from the Starz channel in the USA has recently ended. Ten episodes were shown from January 25th to March 28th, 2015.

The plot is based on the story of a former British colony on the island of New Providence, located in the Caribbean Sea. After the fleet lost control of this piece of land, pirates took over. The legendary Captain Flint was no exception and began to resist the English army. Almost the entire fleet is hunting him, but dealing with the seasoned seadog is not that easy. John Silver adds fuel to the fire, obstructing the captain of his ship from completing the assigned tasks.

The entire series is filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, on a full-scale recreated ship. The second season of the series was extended even before the premiere of the first season, which is a great rarity. This was due to the positive reviews of the show at the Comic Con exhibition, which is annually held in San Diego.

A similar approach was taken with the third season of the series "Black Sails" - the Starz channel announced the continuation of filming on October 12, 2014, well before the premiere of the second season. When the first episode of the third part titled "XIX" will appear on the screens is still unknown, but judging by the schedule of the first two parts, new episodes await us on January 26, 2016.
