The fantastic drama "Counterpart", crossing our world and parallel universes, will be released on the big screens in January 2018. The complexity of the plot and the fame of the actors who participated in the project raised questions from the audience regarding the continuation.
The management of the Starz channel, which is involved in the production of the show, is not yet discussing the second season, nor is the director of the film, Morten Tyldum. In the case of a successful premiere and extension by the creators, the second season can be expected to air at the end of 2018.
What will be shown in the second season
The central figure of the unfolding events is the middle-aged bureaucrat Howard Silk, who works at one of the standard UN agencies. Life no longer brings him pleasure, and he doesn't have much time left to live. In this gloomy state, Howard accidentally discovers that the department where he has been working for years is actually involved in secret work with a parallel dimension. In this world, there exists a doppelgänger of Silk, and now he can communicate with him. Will this experience be successful?
The creators of the series have stated that each episode will have something supernatural and mind-blowing, implemented through the use of high-quality graphic technologies.
