The director of one of the highest-rated projects on TV-3 channel, "Deffchonki," Nigina Sayfullayeva, is preparing to present her new work, "Detki" (Kids), which will soon appear on screens. The project's producer is Valery Fedorovich, the deputy general producer of TNT. He is known for such famous TV series as "Chernobyl," "Crisis of Tender Age," "Policeman from Rublyovka."

A rather unconventional plot revolves around a quite successful middle-aged man named Igor, who has earned quite a lot of money over his life and has become the owner of the popular strip club, "Cabaret," and his offspring. The main character is far from being an ideal father, but rather a hard-living father who doesn't hesitate to use the services of easy women, constantly drinks in a bar with friends, and squanders money on questionable pleasures. His son has recently entered adolescence, which complicates their already strained relationship. Exhausted from trying to establish a connection with his heir and giving up on trying to guide him onto the right path, the parent decides to hire his peer, Lera, who works as a waitress in his establishment. The girl has to keep an eye on her boss's son, but the situation worsens when the strip club dancer Masha and Lera's boyfriend, Danya, get involved. Will this act lead to something sensible or only further spoil the already tense relationship between father and son?
