Hugh is considered one of the best and most in-demand cardiothoracic surgeons who works conscientiously and never neglects his difficult duties. He constantly puts his own career at risk because his priority is treating critically ill patients and providing timely assistance. However, not all clinic staff have friendly relationships with him. The management is dissatisfied with the behavior of this self-willed employee and was waiting for the moment when he would make a mistake or commit an unforgivable misconduct. And on one of his not-so-successful days, the man performs a complex operation, as a result of which a person dies. After the shocking incident, an emergency board of directors meeting is called, at which a ruthless decision is made to declare the doctor as an untrustworthy individual. Nathan has no choice but to resign from his position and go to a remote town where there is a serious shortage of real professionals.
