Doktor Rikhter Season 2

Shooting for the first season of the series "Doktor Rikhter", which is preparing to become a Russian interpretation of the American project "Doctor House", started in early 2016. The creators claim that the premiere will take place at the end of 2016 on Russia 1 TV channel.

If the film by director Andrey Proshkin, produced by "Non-Stop Production" studio, achieves at least half the success of its foreign analogue, it will surely have a sequel, which will be presented to the audience approximately at the end of 2017.

What will be shown in the second season

The plot of the film largely repeats the stories shown in the original series, but all of them are adapted for the Russian viewer in terms of humor, problems, and experiences close to our people. The main character, Doctor Rikhter, also has a very complex personality, which is sometimes not easy to handle. He can offend people and behave inadequately, but in the end, he is capable of saving even the most hopeless patient. In this endeavor, he is helped by a team of young doctors, who are simultaneously both admire and be repulsed by him. Richter wears a crumpled jacket, leans on a cane, and exudes cynicism. Nevertheless, his talent is respected throughout the hospital.

One of the main suppliers of domestic TV series, Russia 1 channel, stated that the first season will show 21 episodes, but the number of lives saved in them will be much larger.
