"Long way home" is a dramatic series of Russian production, based on Svetlana Petrova's work "Amnesia". All 16 episodes of the first season were released on the First Channel. The series takes place in two eras: the 80s of the last century and the present day. The story is divided into two plot lines: the story of the village girl Nadya, who went to Moscow to her beloved during the period of perestroika, and the story of her spoiled daughter Lalya. The finale of the first season took place in April 2015.

The directors and screenwriters will continue to develop the plot of the first season. The new episodes of the series "Long Way Home" will start from the same moment where the previous part ended. Lalya is faced with a series of failures in life: her mother Nadya dies, and her lover Yury is attacked. He survives, but Lalya has no idea about it. The girl herself, who is in the last month of pregnancy, is forced to go to the village with her children, where her mother used to live. It is there that she goes into labor. The plot of the second season will focus on the relationship between Lalya and her fiancé. She will find out that her beloved survived the attack and will do everything possible to find him.
The series "Long Way Home" features a truly stellar cast of actors. The role of Nadya is played by two-time nominee of the "Nika" award, Daria Moroz, and her daughter Olga "Lalya" Bolshakova is played by Russian theater and film actress Elizaveta Boyarskaya. The role of the main heroine's husband is played by Alexander Lazarev. The role of Lalya's fiancé Yury is played by actor Artem Tkachenko.
The world premiere of the series took place on September 7, 2014. The premiere in Russia was on March 2, 2015. Currently, a total of 16 episodes have been released.
