The beginning of the 20th century was a complex period of the emergence of women's rights. Feminist movements were created in different countries around the world. Against the backdrop of these events, in the Canadian city of Toronto, Frankie Drake opens her own detective agency. Skepticism and sexism expressed by colleagues only add fuel to the fire, igniting enthusiasm in the girl. She plans to show up arrogant detectives by proving her talent in practice. However, clients are not rushing to the young lady, preferring the familiar image of a masculine investigator. Distrust and prejudice leave her with little choice. She takes on unsolicited cases that have been abandoned due to lack of evidence and the complexity of testimonies. But this does not in any way upset Frankie. Her brilliant deduction and resourcefulness help to solve any crimes, and the loyal support from her partner Trudy does not let her lose hope. The charming duo, successfully solving another case, does not go unnoticed. Soon even the local police begin to realize that these women can truly be relied upon.
