A representative of the film company Sam Productions revealed that the third season of the TV series "Hostages" will be available for viewing in spring 2020.

What will happen in season 3

The action takes place in 2016. On an ordinary autumn day, several unsuspecting people leave their homes. They get on the subway to reach their desired stop and go about their business. The passengers were unable to reach the planned final destination for reasons beyond their control. They were taken hostage. A group of ruthless terrorists suddenly stormed into the train, pointing firearms at the frightened hostages. They made a series of demands. If the government categorically refuses to meet their conditions and does not negotiate, the merciless villains threaten to execute each of the captured citizens one by one. They don't joke around and are ready to eliminate any of the prisoners at any moment. Former soldier Norgaard is entrusted with negotiating with the bloodthirsty gang members. He has experienced a number of life-shaking events. The man has been to hot spots and knows how criminals operate. At present, he holds the esteemed position of head of the Security Service.

The main roles were played by Johannes Lassen, known for his roles in "You Disappear" and "A Hijacking", Alexander Willaume, who appeared in the series "Follow the Money" and "Crossing Lines", Fleming Enevold, who starred in the feature films "Cartel" and "Amin's Letters", and other actors.

The premiere was aired on April 2, 2017. It consists of 16 episodes. Denmark experiences an unforeseen incident that throws law enforcement into chaos.
